Life is all about living, and throughout our lifetime we will all experience highs and lows.  The highs that take us to the dizziest heights of joy and the lows that can take us to the darkest depths of despair. Is overcoming adversity an opportunity for growth?


I am a great believer that  life is for learning and personal growth, I know that I have faced many challenges both personally and professionally which have led me to deep dive, soul search, reflect and grow.  I smile wryly as the lessons keep coming, this thrilling journey of self-discovery is not without tears of sorrow and joy!  It keeps on giving that is for sure.  My Lifelong learning is not yet done and complete anytime soon.   How to overcome adversity in life with hypnotherapy, I personally use self-hypnosis NLP anchoring, along with walking and journalling.     

When facing adversity, we can become completely overwhelmed as our biggest fears and insecurities rise to the surface.  It is from this place that we are challenged to find the courage and strength to face our fears, learn from them, overcome and grow.  If we can just calm the mind, the body will calm too, and from a calm and quite place we can take time to use the opportunity to grow, understand and nourish our souls with an inner appreciation that:

Our adversaries are our greatest teachers

Adversity comes in many guises, personal, professional, emotional, financial, physical, regardless of its guise it affects all our senses to varying degrees.  Adversity generally involves loss of some kind or other, it may be an obvious loss or perhaps one that’s not-so-obvious, a loss related to age, a limbo loss, the loss of an opportunity; the loss of a job; the loss of a fantasy; a loss of a future you’d had mapped out, loss of what might have been; loss of a loved one.   Hypnotherapy can help you overcome adversity in life, deal with the emotional and physical fallout, enabling you to work through the various stages of loss that you are experiencing.
